My E36 back right wheel well seems to be bent or “popped out”(?) and it’s causing my tires to rub on them. any ideas how i can get it back into place?

Rubber mallet and hit it back. Definitely doesn’t look like it’s sitting where it should be.

If you are talking about that sticking out. Then yeah it’s definitely been altered somehow.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200608/3e0a450a07517e355a278e74ec85f93d.jpg

Rubber mallet and hit it back. Definitely doesn’t look like it’s sitting where it should be. i saw someone get a torch to heat it first, might give that a try if a rubber mallet doesn't work by itself first. Not sure what caused it, previous owner probably hit a gnarly pothole or something

Oh definitely forgot to mention heat. Yeah give it a few taps by hand see how sturdy that piece is and you should know whether to use a mallet or a brass weighted hammer. Either pothole or they used that portion for leverage or maybe car fell on the jack or jack stands lol. But yeah it looks to be doable without having to have someone do it for you.

OK DAWG ITS BEEN LONG OVERDUE. Forgot about this thread, but basically what was causing the rubbing is a broken bushing lol. After a 2 popped tires, I finally found out lol. I should've gotten it looked at a lot earlier in the process.
