my daily driver wheels are my 18s with falken GRB 225s. just for everyday use, but i recently bought a set of staggard(painted black) M double spokes from a fellow bf.c-er.
the question is, what tires should run with them for more aggressive driving, autox(maybe), and time runs at willow. 225f 245r most likely, and i work at Americas Tire Co. so the price wouldnt be too much of a factor considering my employee discout :stickoutt

well, i'd guess r compounds, right? If you got a street pair of tires and rims, get some hoosiers or tech Rs for the double spokes, and kick some ass autoxing... or drag racing, whatever.

Yoko A032s are a very aggressive DOT approved tire. Also the Pilot Sport Cups would be a good choice. On the cheaper end the Falken Azensis are supposed to be pretty good. :)

i want to avoid hoosiers.. and azenis.. something that could be driven on the street a while too would be good, like the PS2s.. what other tires are similar or comparable to those.

Get MX's. Good street tire and great for the track.

You could run a 225/245 staggered setup, but I wouldn't recommend it on the track. You can squezze 245's on a 7.5" wheel, so I would probabily run 245's all around. Its not optimal but better than 225... IMO.

kumho MX and the S-03 round out that list. Also the goodyear eagle F1 GD.... something.
