2002 525i ... I have some seat twist going on. I am not sure which electric motor assy I need. I see 2 motors but not sure which applies to the seat back recline adjustment. Naturally, today it is stuck practically laying down. Lol Can someone help get me in the right direction?

Search a bit, that's a very common problem. The usual problem is the housing tubes, not the motors. And there's a lot more than 2 motors in there.:)

Thanks. I was trying to look at the schematics on real OEM to get some part numbers. I definitely saw more motors in the diagram, which is where my confusion came in. The motor does run, but just clicks. I will search and see what I find on housing tubes.

Just search "seat twist" It's been a BMW problem since the 80's.

Are the housing the housing tubes same as flexible shafts?

Ok.

They're the tubes the flexible shafts run in. Part of the assembly. Black plastic, about 8MM in diameter. Be careful, it's sometimes hard to see what tube goes to what motor. It's tight in there.
This thread should help

Stop doing gangster lean - your seats will thank you :D.
It's a 5 minute repair really: unbolt the seat, heat up the offending sheath, pull it out, cut, heat up and re-insert.
When you do that, make sure you seat in the back seat behind the seat that is twisted (if you can squeeze in) - it is the best position to see if your seat back is straight before you do the repair.

And if you don't want to do it yourself there appears to be several bmw shops in your area. Check the following link: www.bimmershops.com (http://www.bimmershops.com)
Call each one and go with the one that sounds like they know what they are doing.
