My 335i has had battery issues since I bought it 10 months ago. The car takes a long time to shut down after I pull the key out. The battery light comes up immediately & engine will also rev during idle. I also have full codes for climate control failure.
Last week, I accelerated for 40mph to 60mph and cylinders 3 and 5 misfired. The same two cylinders misfire every time i start the car. I pulled the spark plugs out and they were fine. There was oil underneath the engine cover and in some spark plug wells signifying a leak, but the spark plug wells for cylinder 3 and 5 were bone dry. What can be causing these two cylinders to misfire immediately at start up? Could it be a weak electrical signal to the fuel injectors requiring a new battery, the fuel injectors themselves are clogged or faulty, or the gasket leak? The codes I get are:

2a17 DMTL SYSTEM ERROR
cda9 embassy heat flow
29d1 misfiring cylinder 5
29cf misfiring cylinder 3
29cc misfiring several cylinders
29d9 misfire at low tank level
2dc3 monitoring terminal 15
2e8d Intelligent battery sensor

Well for the misfire I would move the coil pack and the spark plug to different locations, clear faults and recheck. Do you now exactly how old the spark plugs are. Then car goes to sleep after about twenty minuets, how long is a long time. There was a fault for low fuel. Oil can certainly damage coil packs, but 3 & 5 you said were dry. Move the plug and coil pack round and see what happens. These engines have had like 4 different versions of fuel injections, there is a number on the injection to indicate which one it is. Also how old is the battery
