Hey everyone writing this down right after i got convinced that Tandem Luk LFR440 pumps interchangeable between all of them!
i am talking about active steering and dynamic drive pumps.
Long story short, got e60 530i, steering is busted, new one with oem number almost 1800$ used one or rebuild nowhere to be found, well at the time i was looking for one...
this the number i needed 32416761412, this is the number i bought 32416762175, from 545,550,645i, by the look of it they look identical but not quite... front of the pump have to be clocked 180 degrees for it to fit on the 3.0 engine and brackets have to come off from old one, there is one more thing, the pressure hose is different which is easily fixable by removing the holed screw and fitting the pressure hose directly in to the pump. 3 chambers of the pump easily removable and front of the pump easily clocked after losing 4 bolts that hold them. while inside you can also interchange the fan with fins chamber that might be damaged.
