Hello everyone,
Should I buy an engine for my 2009 335i ? Cylinder #3 is operating at 75% of its compression rate. Trying to weigh the pros and cons.

How's you mpg at a steady 60mph?
With a stopwatch and friend, measure 0 to 60 time, which should be around 6+ seconds.
Otherwise, how does car run?

A new engine costs $15,000 or more. You want a used engine from a junkyard/dismantler.

So where did this 75% number come from. A leak down test? And what is happening to the engine that your thinking of replacing it
