So like i am sure many folks here have been stuck trying to diagnosing by our selves a problem with our car..Well i also was in the same situation . so many problems mask as a different problem and then that second guesses ourselves.. So i came across a site that has prob the best info and the best to the point writeups.. Well after learning more in a hour on this persons well done site i came across a topic called online diagnosis....

See below
Let me say this before anybody questions it I already knew my car was running like crap and the fuel pump was cutting out at warmed up temps and cuts out 15 seconds after start. So i thought maybe they can confirm my hopes and if i wasnt impressed.. so i get this email and by following the below links info and also following the n53 tutorial he has on what screens to send .. see below and folllow links for exact steps..

Online diagnostics. N43/N53

To each BMW enthusiast, we offer Online diagnostics for N43/N53 engines.

What does it mean?
We will evaluate live data of INPA, sent to us by you, if necessary – will give recommendations for deeper research, if it would be required.

What do you have to do?
Prepare the screenshots of required menus from INPA and send them to us together with a description of the problem.

List of required data for E series (E81/E82/E88/E90/E91/E92/E93/E60/E61/E63/E64) (https://bimmerprofs.com/n43n53-required-information/).
INPA MSD80 edited sorry but its on the real site.. is necessary

List of required data for F series (F10/F11) (https://bimmerprofs.com/required-information-f-series/).
INPA for F series MSD87 Loader 3.700 is necessary

We will send the report as soon as possible with comments regarding incorrect or suspicious values, the report will be supplemented with images with marked incorrect values. We will give also suggestions and recommendations for required tests if the defect could not be recognized from data sent.
We will help your car run smoothly again.

Following systems will be checked (initial report):
1. Basic data

Air consumption (air mass meter data)
The temperature of the engine, coolant, oil, plausibility of these data

Now how can you diag my cars problems properly from across the world... So i followed the post instructions but there were no addy to send my inpa screen shots to .... I emailed the link and bingo 10 hours later i get a email with simple exact instructions on what to do...

So ok i go to do my screnshots but i can keep the car to run so i can properly take clean pics of the directions he tells in the above link to do .. so now i am worried i cant get my fear confirmed and low and behold i get the email from him saying exactly what i was hoping to be diagnosed..

I already purchased a new LPFP from fcpeuro at 157.00 second day airmail to me..

Now i never told him what i thought was wrong other than my pics are prob corruted due to enginges not running as he asks.. but i get this email
658841

658842

The above are just some of the pics in all i sent 65 screen shots to him and the email is coming with instructions on my fix at the moment..

Now here is list in last month of problems..number 2 fuel injector ,plugs,coils, Blown oil cooler 100 miles from home while towing my trailer with no motor coverage to tow home...

Replaced fuel intank filter and bought a new oil cooloer and replaced injector and sent proper values to the index 11 injector oh ya all my otheres are index 8
i sent proper values to the new one.. and now, we are here a month later... to a car that hates me at the moment.. So he replies with this and
it may not be much but first time i am confident i got the correct directions to get the fix and technical info to back me up.. I am sorry to this site if its against rules but i feel this gentleman hasnt asked for money yet or if he will but when im running i willl send a thank of funds to him for his profeesionalism and unselfish self by helping me ...

back to problem as we sit now.. I AM HERE AT this Moment

Hi Ron,

please:
a) upgrade your INPA
https://bimmerprofs.com/msd80-loader-2-023/
b) replace LPFP. Your goal: 5 Bar (5000 hPa) pressure of LP Rail
https://bimmerprofs.com/n43n53-fuel-supply/
at this moment there is a total crash of LP Rail (check attachment);
c) when the correct pressure is reached, proceed re-adaptation of the engine:
https://bimmerprofs.com/re-adaptation-engine/
d) send data for diagnostics repeatedly.

Regards,
Kaspars

So with the new LPFp installed took like 45 mins from start to finish. the cost of the new fuel pump from FCPEURO.COM with shipping was $200.36 that is with over night shipping.
i followed the instructions the were sent to me on what to do next from the first posts 3rd step I am sending to him the second set of images rom the steps below Its purring alot better almost say like a kitten but till he says its running perfect i wont curse my self till its done..

Re-adaptation of the engine using INPA

Note: INPA loader 2.023 (https://bimmerprofs.com/msd80-loader-2-023/) required.

Switch on the ignition (engine off), connect OBD to USB connecting cable, select MSD80 for N43/N53.

1. open INPA adaptation menu, 2nd group: ../F8/F2; delete existing/old adaptations (status: ignition on; engine off), pressing Shift+F9
https://bimmerprofs.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/adaptations_cleared_2-1024x576.png (https://bimmerprofs.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/adaptations_cleared_2.png)

2. Open rough run menu ../F5/F7
https://bimmerprofs.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/flywheel_status-1024x576.png (https://bimmerprofs.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/flywheel_status.png)
Learnbit of flywheel adaptations has to be uncolored (white). If learnbit of adaptations is colored, repeat point 1

If the learnbit of flywheel adaptations is uncolored (white):
a) turn on the engine;
Attention: the car may run unevenly! If EML (check engine) symbol appears on KOMBI and increased/incorrect idle is observed:

turn off the engine; turn on the ignition;
slowly press and release accelerator pedal for three times;
start the engine;

b) accelerate till 100 .. 110km/h on even road;
c) switch the 4th gear (for automatic transmission – in manual mode);
d) release the accelerator pedal, brake with the engine (don’t press brake pedal).
After 5 .. 10 seconds learnbit of flywheel adaptations has to be colored in black. If learnbit stays uncolored, repeat from b.
e) stop the car, switch off the ignition, takeoff the key, disconnect the diagnostic cable;
f) wait, till the lighting of start/stop button turns off.

3. start the engine, connect INPA
Attention: the car may run unevenly! If EML (check engine) symbol appears on KOMBI and increased/incorrect idle is observed:

turn off the engine; turn on the ignition;
slowly press and release accelerator pedal for three times;
start the engine;

a) open INPA fuel mixture menu ../F5/F6;
https://bimmerprofs.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/wide_band_heating-1024x576.png (https://bimmerprofs.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/wide_band_heating.png)
b) after a little while the MSD80 has to start to warm up the wide-band probes, PWM of them has to increase to 30 .. 60%;
c) allow the engine to run idle for 5 minutes;
d) perform the driving session with even speed 60 .. 90km/h; 5 .. 10min;
e) repeat points c & d for several times;
f) stop the car, switch off the ignition, takeoff the key, disconnect the diagnostics cable;
g) wait, till the lighting of start/stop button turns off.

4. start the engine, connect INPA
a) open INPA fuel mixture menu ../F5/F6;
https://bimmerprofs.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/control_heating-1024x576.png (https://bimmerprofs.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/control_heating.png)

c) allow the engine to run idle for 5 minutes;
d) perform the driving session with even speed 60 .. 90km/h; 5 .. 10min;
e) repeat points c & d for several times.

5. Check the initial adaptations:
a) open ../F5/F6
https://bimmerprofs.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/adaptations_check_1-1024x544.jpg (https://bimmerprofs.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/adaptations_check_1.jpg)
b) multiplicative type adaptations should be within -20 .. +20 % range and different from 0.00;
c) offset type adaptations should be within -1.0 .. +1.0 mg/stk range and different from 0.00.

Recheck error message memory, clear if necessary.

6. Next few times, when starting the cold engine:
a) allow the engine to run idle at least for 5 minutes;
b) drive with longer driving sessions with even RPM and torque when possible.

With this, the creating of initial adaptations can be considered as complete.

Note: when old adaptations are cleared, following error messages* can appear immediately:

error messages relating DSC. Solution: drive 10 .. 15 min, switch off/on ignition;
error messages relating throttle. Solution: turn on the ignition (engine off), press and release accelerator pedal for 3 times, then start an engine.

During adaptation process (after old adaptations have been cleared) some error messages* can appear:

error messages relating fuel trim (bank and/or cylinders individually);
insufficient performance of CO catalytic converters;
Lambda probes (trim and/or signal);
uneven run (Stratified charge and/or Homogeneous injection).

*these error messages in the exact situation do not indicate any problems with the engine performance. Clear error memory ../F4/F1/F5 if necessary.

Troubleshooting

How to comply with ‘Ignition ON’? – my car does not have an ignition key, it is equipped with the Start / Stop button.
To activate ‘Ignition ON’ mode:

insert the key into the slot;
do not press any pedal (no clutch, no brake pedal);
press the ‘Start / Stop’ button several times while all the indicators (ABS/DTC, SRS, etc.) light up in the KOMBI.

2. Communication with INPA breaks regularly. Cause: Incorrect latency setting.
Solution:

Connect OBD/USB cable
Open: Control panel / Device manager
Select: Ports (LPT and COM)
Select: USB serial Port (COM X)
Enter sub-menu: Port settings / Advanced
Set Latency time to: 1 msec*
Press OK, confirm changes

*(default value: 16 msec)

Also:
a) close all realtime applications (Messenger, Skype, etc.);
b) disable Internet connection (both LAN and WiFi options);
c) temporarily stop all service procedures (Windows upgrade, HDD check-up, etc).
