Hi everyone, this is my first time posting, though I've really appreciated all the information I've been able to find on this site.

I have a 2006 E60 525xi which has a few problems I've been trying to resolve, when I received it, it drove fine for a couple days (the guy I got it from said there is a problem with the temp sensor in the radiator hose false indicating over heating) this did occur a few times of the first couple days and immediately the warning went away each time.

after a few days, I was driving down the highway at about 60mph and the with no warnings at all on this drive, "transmission malfunction" error showed and the power from the motor was removed and we coasted to a stop. I called the guy and was told this happened once before but was an error and just to unplug the battery for a half an hour and then it should start back up. This worked.

The next day I test drove it and after about 5 miles same error with the transmission malfunction showed and the card would no longer start.

I have done the transmission reset via power on and holding the gas pedal, I have also printed the error codes and here's what I get

90 VIRTSG90 ERROR_ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED
91 VIRTSG91 ERROR_ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED
92 VIRTSG92 ERROR_ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED

and

12 DME/DDE OKAY 1 Error stored (CDA6 14)
29 DSC OKAY 1 Error stored (SEBA E0)
78 KLIMA OKAY 1 Error stored (9C55 61)

The car now has a crank / no start issue. I've checked the fuel rail and there is no pressure or fuel present. I have replaced the EKPM2 with no change.
I have also replaced the battery since this problem started

I tested the wires running to the fuel pump under the seat with a multimeter and got no reading when key was turned to the on position
not sure what other info I can provide but if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them!

Thanks in advance!

How to check, if the fuel pumping is working?
Using INPA, from main menu:
choose Body;
choose Instrument cluster;
press F5 (Read Status);
choose F1 (Read Status Analog 1).

Lever-type sensor 1: fuel level sensor, pump’s side
Lever-type sensor 2: fuel level sensor, driver’s side
If the total amount of fuel is less than half of the tank (37 liters/E60), ALL fuel has to be pumped to the side of the pump (fuel level sensor of other side has to show 0 liters). If total fuel amount is higher, the largest part of it (37liters/E60) has to be on pump’s side (largest indication – sensor No.1).
Of course, when the driving is very dynamic, fuel can partly leak other (“incorrect”) side. In this case, the driver’s side sensor can have increased indication, but in such situation, the fuel pump immediately has to start to pump fuel to “correct” site. Pumping speed has to be around 1 liter in 5 to 7 seconds. It means, that the indications of the 1-st sensor have to grow, and the indications of other side have to decrease, till:

the container in pump’s side is full (37 liters/E60) OR
sensor No.2 indicates 0 liters: no more fuel to pump.
