This is an easy fix if your windshield wipers always don't return to home position. This is only applicable if wipers always come to the same wrong position! Note that I took the pictures after fixing the issue so some pictures, like of the motor it self, were never taken.

Tools:
13mm wrench or socket
Set of torx bits (sorry forgot the exact one needed)
A friend (optional)

Procedure:

1: Remove driver side windshield wiper arm (13mm nut). It might need a few taps around the base with a hammer to break loose the corrosion

2: Peel back protective rubber thing about like this

3: Remove the first 4 tabs holding in the wiper shroud starting from the furthest driver side.

4: Remove 5 torx screws that hold the wiper motor/wiper assembly cover. With the top shroud loose you should be able to get the two top screws. The cover can now be removed completely.

5: Loosen the 13mm nut on top of the wiper-motor so the wiper can move freely without the motor spinning. If the wiper are in the top position this will be easier with a socket. If they aren't and you don't want to manually move them, a wrench will do.

6: Move the wiper where you want it to return to (more then likely at the bottom).

7: Turn on the wipers briefly so the car moves the motor where it think home position is. I would recommend someone hold the wiper in place so the motor doesn't move it.

8: Now with both the motor and the wiper in home position, tighten the 13mm nut on top of the motor to secure the motor to the wiper mechanism.

To assemble everything else back, go backwards starting at step 4.

This worked for me, I hope it will help others too.
