Hi all,
Had my second-hand 2010 e92 for about 2 months now with no issue. Over past few weeks though I've been hearing a squeaking sound when driving over bumps in the road. I don't think it's suspension because I can't reproduce by bouncing/pushing down on the car from the rear.
I thought it may have been something on the interior but I emptied the car completely and the sound is still there.
I have foldable/collapsable seats and I read on another thread that the sound is possibly coming from the clasps that lock the seats upright, but I did a test drive with the seats folded down and the sound is still there.
It's driving me absolutely crazy. Has anybody else had a similar issue, or can anybody suggest any ideas on how to go about diagnosing this?
