Hello there,

I've had my E38 for 4 years now, and finally ready to begin customizing / restoring.

Been wanting to refinish the stock wheels to match the finish of say am E39 M5 look.

Just got my spare back as a guinea pig to test the color, not bad but may go a shade darker when I do the other 4.

Has anyone else done this? Thoughts, comments, pics are welcome.

My regular wheels are filthy on this pic, but gives you an idea of the color difference and no polished lip.

My wheel guy tried to get me to go a few tones darker, and now I'm thinking he may have been right. Again this is just my full size spare, so may course correct when its time to do the other 4.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190808/2c68e1cd38fbc582df5ae06369596245.jpg
