Hello all! This is my first post but I’m very familiar with the site as I’ve used it many times to troubleshoot various problems I’ve experienced over the years. But now I’ve run into a problem with my convertible top I can’t seem to fix.

I was dropping the top as normal but as the top retracts inside the compartment I’ve noticed the tonneau cover is not closing properly on the driver side. It seems the tonneau cover has shifted off track or out of place leaving a gap when closed. The cover catches the hinge on the passenger side but I have to force it down to catch the driver side hinge and it still doesn’t close properly after I do that. The tonneau cover is now about half an inch out of place (forward) when closed and is no longer flush with the compartment. Is there some way to adjust this?

I have a
BMW 328ci 96’
Semiautomatic soft top

Here are pictures of the tonneau cover out of place on the drivers side

Your photos didn't show up.... to share photos with the forum, load the images to an Photo Hosting Site, such as Flicker, Google Photos, 500px, etc. Avoid using Photo Bucket or ImgUr as both make it difficult to link to forums.

Once uploaded to a hosting site, copy the link (the http://hosting_site.com/your_pic.jpg) of your photo to your forum message.
