Recently got my m62tu timing guides done and some how all my cooling hoses were lost so re-ordered all new hoses buuuut I cannot remember at all the placement of them and can't seem to find where some of the hoses lead to. Such as the heater exchanger hose, and what hoses connect to the transmission cooler. I know real oem shows me the parts but doesnt show what they connect to, if someone has some info on this would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem, when you get them correct you will know. It took me about an hour to figure it out.

Yeah the car had been sitting for like 4 months and completely forgot about how anything went.

This is a side note question, got the car all buttoned up but I was told that the car has a bad vanos gear and it cannot be driven till it has been repaired. Is it that damaging to drive for some time till I have money to replace/repair it?

What do you mean by bad vanos gear? Physical damage or just noisy when running? My vanos made noise for over a year before I fixed and you should hear my V10 in my M5!

Mechanic stated the Vanos gears were bad, turned the car on and car sounded fine but when you turned on made a loud click on passenger side of motor and then ran fine. But since then I have another world of problems, car sounds like its dying since I got it home. Made another post on that lol.

Second hose connects the lower right hand of the radiator to the heat exchanger under the alternator. The smaller end is rotated into the drain hole on the right side on the bottom of the radiator. The heat exchanger is a few inches away and will line up with the clip end of the hose.

656129The first hose goes from the water pump inlet, under the water pump, above and behind the crank pulley, down to the cooler under the alternator. The bracket is bolted to the water pump. I believe the connection to the water pump goes into a TEE from the expansion tank.

If I get around to it I will drop my skid plate and get some pictures from under the car.
