I recently acquired a 530i that has been having multiple issues the worst being that at 4000RPM on any gear the engine begins to misfire till the car is turned off and on again. I recieve codes for cylinders 1-3 misfiring and camshaft sensor bank B I have replaced both the intake and exhaust cam sensors but the issue is still occurring I've noticed that when I replaced the sensors the acceleration of the car is smoother but not to what it's supposed to be the sensors I bought are not OEM I will be buying OEM spec sensors soon and if anyone has some recommendations please post in comments as well please help I just want a starting point other that replacing the sensors which I will already do is there any other cause or thing I should look at?

Spark plugs, ignition coils are a good place to start if they haven't been changed when trying to fix misfires.
