E38 BMW 728i 1998 what does this light mean?!

What does this light mean?! Comes and goes with check something on dash. Can't read it as my pixels are shot car drives fine etc but the abs module is clicking alot?!? And the light seems to come on when I begin braking?!? I've read it could be a transmission light?! But my code reader showed no codes for tranny but one for can open circuit on abs?!

So for some reason I can't add a photo.
It's a red (O) with an explanation mark in the middle of the circle. And 2 outer lines. So crudely drawn it's ( (!) ) Hahaha looks a bit rude.

Looks like a brake warning indicator.

That's what I thought! Thank you. While the engine was off (ignition 2) I used the kick down for 30 seconds, light went off. Is that normal?! I didn't know the accelerator pedal could be used to clear codes 🤔

Looks like it could also be your emergency brake switch so make sure that your pedal is fully up your emergency brake pedal that is

First thing I tried was that, it's a bit sticky at times the pedal. So while driving I put the emergency brake on a bit and a circle with a P comes up. And went off when I pulled the handle for the emergency brake
