Hi all first time posting, have had some awsome help on this forum thought i would post my rebuild to help others if needed.
have had a few prob.s overall no to bad. A/c bearing on clutch has died and will need to replace it.
First sign was a noise from engine bay.
Noise became worse, isolated it to a/c bearing with a help of research.
bought parts, put off replacement due to time.
result bearing blew up.
control system saying battery charging fault.
car slowing started shutting down systems one by one, warning lights coming up all the time.
Me just hoping i could make it home.
car brokedown on middle of a roundabout with on coming traffic.
Nice man decided to help me push it accross road to safety.
road side service assistaint came after about an hour diagnosed as alternator fault possible replacement,

The problem was the belt drive had come off and was not turning alternator over.
thus no charge to the battery.

have garaged my beamer and have started my own repairs.
will keep everyone up to date with my progress.
list of what i will be doing.

oil/ and filter change coolant flush and replace.
thermostat change oil cooler gasket replacement
A/c comp clutch bearing change hoses replace where needed
vanos clean and inspect, as they are new. trans service kit/ mount replacement
sump cover removal and inspection of bottom end and clean out.
plus a few more along the way

You better hope the belt didn't get pushing behind the crank pulley and pushed into the motor. If that happened, you may as well get a new engine. You now have shreds of belt all throughout the motor, including all the oil galleys and passages. I've never seen a motor recovered after that's happened. They continue to have non-stop issues.
