it is killing me to even write this post. but (wipe away the tears)....my wife and i just moved back to the midwest from florida and we really need an SUV instead. the M3 would only get to come out to play for maybe 4-5 months out of the year, that is not fair in anyway. I will have another M3 but right now......

the car was purchased in Jan,04 with 39.5K miles. i am the 3rd owner. the car has been babied and cared for. service was done by Cars & Concepts in Tampa, FL. Never been tracked.

Its a shame you havent sold your car yet. If you were in California i would most likely jump on this even though its luxo. I dont know why but i think Boston Green looks good. Good Luck with the sale.

I understand your frustration. I owned a 97' m3 four door 5spd with Boston/modena with 84,000 miles. I sold it in June 04' because wanted to trade to Estoril modena, all options, mods, and 42,000 miles. Fortunately for me the second person to look at my car bought it. Most m3 buyers/owners do not seem to want Boston Green, I suspect without studying it enough it looks like just well green. I owned it and the color has to grow on you and how it looks in different lighting is the only way to really apreciate it's depth and color. Three years ago my preference was red and I never found it, but just loved the modena(pumpkin) interior, so bought the green, I would have kept it, but the estoril's condition was to hard to pass up. I sold my car for $15,4000. Good luck with the sale, you may want to keep it until spring when more people are out looking.

I have about 3 weeks until I can buy a car, do you still have the stock deck/radio (not the Sony that is installed). I really want a stock looking M3... Also could you list any flaws with the car (stone chiping, road rash on original wheels)? I will pay the $15K without a doubt if it is in really good condition. Could you also post vin so I can look it up on Carfax?

Even though it's Boston green....your car makes up for it in that its appears to be super clean, well maintained and well optioned. Good luck with the sale...it'll just take a little longer than normal to move for you, thats all.
