Hi all, this is my first post here. I have a 1995 BMW 525i that I replaced the radiator on due to a crack. I did not flush the cooling system, I simply drained it as far as I needed to in order to pull the radiator. I got the new one installed and filled the rad-mounted reservoir. Not knowing at first about the bleed screw, I ran it for a bit just with the cap off like I was used to. That didn’t work so I researched the process. With the cap on, I started the engine and then removed th bleeder screw. Nothing came out, but after some time a bit of steam came out. I let it cool off and topped off the coolant and tried again. Still no bubbles, and the lower rad hose was hot. All the while the heat was on full blast, and it was blowing ambient temperature. The heat did work before this. So what did I do wrong/what can I check to figure this out?
