For sale is a 1999 BMW 328iS with 155k on the clock. This car is far from perfect and I will disclose every issue I can think of. I'm located in Austin, Texas and I've owned it since 2012. The title is clean, but in 2015 I spun out into a guardrail while commuting through a mountain in the winter. Roads were icy and it was a low speed collision. I paid out of pocket to have the bodywork fixed at a bodyshop for which I still have the receipt. The shop did an excellent job and I've spent the past two years slowly addressing it's issues in a quest to make it a fun weekend car or track toy. My original plan when I moved to Texas in March was to swap an S54 in. As a result, I dropped it from my insurance and didn't register it because I was expecting it to sit for a few months while I did the swap. Fast forward to today - I've picked up a motorcycle habit, I haven't begun the swap, I have even less free time, and I just don't see my interest coming back to complete the project. The car has sat in my garage since March, only ever coming out for an occasional wash or ride around the neighborhood to keep things moving. At this point, I'm ready to see it go to someone who will do something with it. If you don't mind adding oil every so often, all it really needs to serve as a daily is a battery, an alignment, and a hood cable. If I were keeping this car, I would rebuild the engine to address all of the leaks or take the opportunity to swap it. Asking $3500 and open to offers. I have considered parting the car out and will entertain offers on individual parts but would much prefer to sell as a whole.

Disclosure on all known issues:
The engine has developed pretty bad leaks over the years at the common locations (oil pan, oil filter housing, possibly rear main seal, power steering, etc).
The coilovers have seen better days but could be easily salvaged. The dampers aren't leaking, but the springs are rather rusty and some of the height adjustment threads are stubborn.
I think the car needs a front end alignment - the steering wheel has a shake around 70 mph.
The body is pretty straight, there are a couple of dents and handful of paint knicks but overall the cosmetic condition is one of it's better attributes.
The drivers side window tint is peeling.
Driver side mirror has a discoloration.
Passenger side fog lens missing.
The weather stripping is pretty torn up all around.
Missing the driver's side rear E-brake.
Hood latch recently snapped so I'm currently opening it with vice grips.
Battery needs replaced.
Front fender liners don't stay seated.
Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions.
