Over the span of a couple weekends I replaced my valley pan gasket, all the intake manifold gaskets, and the upper timing cover gaskets. After bolting everything back together the car started and ran, but had a rough idle which was pretty easy to tell was a massive vacuum leak.
After poking the engine bay I discovered the two small open ports on the back of the CVV. I found a couple of vacuum plugs in my toolbox and after fitting them the car idled smoothly. The problem is I don't remember any plugs or vacuum lines going to these ports. From what I can tell my car has a remote mounted fuel pressure regulator rather than one located on the fuel rail. From what I understand some year models get a vacuum port from the CVV to the FPR.
Can anyone confirm both of these ports should be plugged? After plugging them both I have an SES light, but I'm hoping it was prompted by the vacuum leak and will go away after a bit.
