Hey guys, last time I did this I remember that dead ones (actuators)dont even make a sound, how come I have this now? A buzzing sound, but not open it looks like it doesnt retract whole the way or something? P.S. how do I upload a video I just shot haha(file too big)

If it just makes a whirring noise, the lead screw is stripped. The actuator needs replacing.
Open the boot with the key.

Easy repair. Why is it the early ones fail? The 528 died at year 15 and it sits under a cover in the garage 90% of the year. Trunk is used hardly ever. As mentioned the key works every time.
