Why doesnt my 2009 bmw 335xi AT coupe doesnt come with paddle shifters? Its the n54 automatic

The paddle shifters only come if the car has the Sports package.

Because not everyone wants the sport package. Rides firmer, lower suspension, sport seats, and added cost.
