Recently bought a 2007 335i. today was the first time i got it out on the highway and notice a very odd high freqency vibration in the dead pedal and can also hear it. the car rides smooth and i cannot feel anything in the seat or steering wheel. It is most pronounced right around 60mph. much higher or lower and it dissapears. The best way i can describe it is like driving on those rumble strips that they put on some roadsides.. but slightly higher frequency and pulsing.
Tires are brand new Continental ExtremeContact DWS's.

First thing that comes to mind is tire pressure. Had somthing similar and found I had a screw in the tread that was leaking slowly. Also experienced degrading handling at higher speeds. No dead pedal vibration, but had a vibration at higher speeds. Good luck.

First step to eliminating a vibration, is to check the obvious. Check for bent wheels, have the tires balanced, but they also need to be put on a roadforce balancer to check for excessive runout/roadforce.

It feels way to high frequency to be a tire/wheel issue. I almost want to call it a buzzing that i can feel. Ive felt lots of bad tires that make the wheel or seat shake and this is nothing like those.
The only thing that comes to mind right now for me is a wheel bearing.

Might be. You can always rotate the tires front to back and vice versa, unless you have the sport wheels. Moving the wheels is often a good way to determine if it's tires or wheels.

Update:
Replaced Wheel hub/bearing and the problem is resolved.
Guess i need to trust my instincts more often ... ha ha
