ok im looking for some 18" rims for my 328i. Im very heavily leaning toward the hp evos ( http://www.hpracing.com/drill_down_parts.php?id=49& )...i really liked the rims that bucketheadned has for sale with the huge lip :buttrock , but im working with a tight budget... :(

Anyway, anything i should know about these before i buy them? What size tires should i use? I want to run the biggest tire that fits...finally if anyone knows of any other 18" rims less than $700 shipped let me know....

thanks

you should monitor the wheels/tires for sale section for a week or two. im sure a deal will pop up, thats probably your best bet. buying new is much more expensive and ebay is sketchy.

I saw them on ebay. 18" Hp Evo Wheels plus tires for $1050 I think you can find just the rims for about $600, I will get back to you on this I have to find the link.

I remember I really wanted HP evo's but I wanted 17" which aren't made. I was looking at these which are $850 shipped with tires:

They look alright... Similar to the style on the 5 series.

www.wheelmax.com

Click on BMW wheels. They have a selection specifically for BMW. I bought wheels from them & other places and you have your choice of tire (might cost more) but I got the Khumo Excta's which were the best tires I ever bought for everyday driving. I bought the Axis Neo's (for the lippage) after seeing them on a WRX in a mag (and they were featured in The Fast & The Furious) for $799 wheels & tires. Try to find them now for that price.

I have also bought from www.wheelsboutique.com with decent results.
