View Full Version : When did BMW start manufacturing the 2011 model year?

A friend was sold a "2011" 328i with a manufacture date (per sticker and VIN) of 4/10. Is that right? Did they start building them that early?

thats early. From my experience the new model years typically start around September(09) of the previous year.

That's sounds possible. I have a 2011 328i LCI that was manufactured around then. I took delivery of it in July 2010.

I think mine is also July 2010. 328xi.

I believe our cars are siblings... Also 7/10 build date, blue water metallic. Interior is oyster black. Premium, cold weather, at.
