Help! Need to know if this tire would fit my car.

Hi,

I was wondering if Kumho Ecsta's in 255/40/17 would fit my 1994 325is in the rear? I have 17x8.5 kosei K1's which are a 40mm offset I believe. I currently have 235/45 tires on em and they rub sometimes. My fenders are not rolled.

so basically my question is, will the 255/40/17's fit on my 40mm offset 17x8.5 kosei K1's if I get my fenders rolled? thanks.

I would get the fenders rolled first and check if they still rub with the 235s.
