How did you bleed the clutch?

The slave cylinder needs to be bled while it is DISMOUNTED from the transmission, so that the bleed screw is the highest point on the slave. This way, you just open up the bleed screw, and GRAVITY -BLEED the line.
Do NOT push the pedal while the slave is dismounted !
Of course, there is no reason to have to bleed the hydraulics, after changing the transmission, because you should not have opened the hydraulic system; you just unbolt the slave from the trans, and let it hang, out of the way.
Why did you change the transmission? Did you install a new clutch kit? Is the transmission exactly the same part as the old one?
