Window regulator track pulled off

The window regulator track on my 1996 328i pulled off of the right rear window glass. Please let me know how to properly reattach it.

Most likely need a couple of these replacement clips, p/n 51-32-1-938-884.

The aluminum track pulled away from the glass. The plastic slider and clip are in ok condition.

I would try urethane window sealant

FYI the dealer recommended using a two-part epoxy.

had this issue too first things first if the metal clip is missing or if the plastic slider piece is broken that could be a fault, if they are fine then check if the window is in the guides in the front and back because if not the window will keep falling off the regulator ball joint,

Item 2 is the object of your desire. Sorry, I lied, this is the front door, the rear door may be different.

Unless the window regulator is bent, the only thing that can happen is that Item 2 breaks, or the metal clip falls off, which only happens if Item 2 breaks. YOU MUST LOOK UP THE RELATIVE PART FOR YOUR CAR, THIS DIAGRAM IS FOR MY 'VERT.
