Fog machine as smoke machine?

Hello my fellow BMW peeps, I don't know if your like me but I always have vaccum leaks especially in the m52 I have it is notorious for having some type of air leak that's one of the things I hate about that engine everything just cracks n breaks, unfortunately alot of us have to deal with it can be a pain in the a$$ looking for them under that big intake manifold so I was thinking if I could use a fog machine instead of a evap smoke machine would it be safe to use in it, I know most of the fog machines use some type of juice to make it fog or smoke but I wanted to know if this is another option to find vaccum leaks because my mom's Benz is also running lean, I have torn the Intake manifold off at least 5 times digging for air leaks but real hard to find in limited space

This. Fog machines usually have low output pressure and might just clog up the machine.

you can make a proper smoke machine for just a few bucks in parts why bother

I heard you have to use the flammable ones n I'm not trying to start a fire

thats why you dont do it on a super hot engine
