Hi there, i have just today noticed a substantial amount of coolant steadily flowing out of what appears to be a crack in the head, it starts pouring out as soon as the car is cold started. i have attached to photos to try and visually show where the leak is, it is located directly behind that pipe the arrow is point to. wondering if this would require a completely new head of if its fixable? thanks

More likely it is leaking from the head gasket, looks to be at the right place. Unless badly overheated or frozen no reason for it to crack, plus the heads usually crack in places you'll never see from the outside.
My guess is the gasket, and probably the block and/or head surface have corroded.

There is a long heater hose right there too. Might be a pinhole in it. Its either that or the head gasket.
The M20 heads crack under the cam when they crack, and you only see that in situations where the head gasket blows and then gets driven like that.
