245/45/17 instead of 235/45/17 tires

hey guys,

i have 528i w/ 17" wheel option which uses 235/45/17 tires.

i was just wondering if i can run 245/45/17 tires instead of the factory spec 235/45/17 tires.

what's the pros/cons?

The 245/45R17 will work fine. It will give you about 1/3" more width and hieght. I don't think it will improve performance much. It will help protect your wheels a little.

i was considering the Falken Azenis Sport tires, but i guess tirerack doesn't carry them...
