I'm little confused how this all should work. Let me say that I did mess with central locking. I will try to document timeline of events:

1. Seems like all was working OK (I didn't check passenger door though, so not sure) except that rear left door was "sticking" when opening. So it wouldn't open from key every time, but it would close every time.
2. I did research (and even posted here somewhere) on how to rebuild actuators.
3. Since those motors (inside actuators) real cheap I was like what the heck, I will do all of them.
4. I replaced all of them and after this - central locking wouldn't work, doors would randomly click/clack when key operated, nothing would work and re-sync procedure wouldn't help.
5. I got 2 used rear locks and 2 new front actuators from ebay and replaced all.
6. All door micro-switches work (when any door opened - lights ON)

This is where I'm at now....

When I lock driver door - I hear some multiple click-clock and all doors locked - GOOD. But why so much noise?
When I unlock driver door - all doors except front passenger(FR) unlocked and there is no click-clock sound, it's just works as it should except for FR door.
When I get in a car and try to pull button to on FR door - it doesn't work, but opening by pulling handle - works.

So, it almost seems like something inside a FR lock broken, not actuator but mechanical. However, I'm not sure how to proceed with diagnostics..

Do you have the Bentley manual? It explains the central double locking system best, I had similar problems, what I would recommend is pulling both front panels, removing both lock actuators and lubricating, resetting the drives, and reinstalling, it's a pain in the ass but if nothing is broken it'll work properly for a long time after that, if you're really lucky you'll be able to get it to work properly with just lubrication of the actuator. For some reason I never hear of people having problems with the rear doors, I guess they see less vibration from being open and closed less and that's why.

Those locks lubricated and actuators are brand new upfront.
What is computer diagnostic software that can be used to check operation?

Team! Need your help identifying parts and giving input to my problem. I'm really into fixing this stupid central lock. Now I got full scope on a problem, something is definitely wrong with front passenger lock, but not sure what.

1. Closing/opening from driver door will lock/unlock all but front passenger door.
2. Closing opening from front passenger door will lock unlock all but will "unsync" other locks if that makes sense.

I DID go as far as getting DIS to diagnose this. This is what I'm seeing (see pics)

So, when I'm just checking states after locking from driver's side - I can see passenger side either "LOCKED" or "FAULT"

Question #1: What is PIN CONTACT?

After going through some troubleshooting steps proposed by DIS I found that it's one of 2
Question #2: What is ZV drive and where is that black plug, where is relay B?
Question #3: What is Rotary-latch lock?

I _assume that ZV drive is actuator, rotary-latch lock is actual lock assembly(?), relay B is ??

What do you think about issue and what would be your next step?
