Meh, my 540i had a qtr million miles and cost thousands to keep going, If i had to guess im in the same boat now, the M5 is gonna be more expensive but it also has a lot less miles.

I'm in the same boat. Just sold my 01 E38 after 10 years of ownership and purchased a E60 M. I wish us luck!
