Hello All, I have recently ordered a pair of quad tips for a muffler delete on my F30 328i xDrive. The company sent me the tips with the inlets on the outsides, so i am having a hard time squeezing them in the inlets of the aftermarket diffuser i bought. As seen in the photos i attached, The tip inlet on the passenger side will not clear what i think is the battery box in the trunk (the black plastic box on the passenger side of the f30 bumper?)
Would it be ok for my to shave the corner of this box off in order to fit the tips, if i heat wrap it where i shaved? Any suggestions how to get around this box, and if it is infact the battery box and not just the trunk? In the third photo i indicate with my fingers where i would need to cut. Thanks!
