yes.

Just curious - how can you tell? It does look like a Filtran filter, but how do you know it is?

i've bought them before. i've also bought MANN trans filters , too and meistercraftz ( how ever u spell that name )
i guess ill say the filtran filter i bought back in early 2017 clogged with new fluid in the trans with in 400 miles. found that extremely odd...the mann filter also clogged within 400 miles, just not as bad. not too , too surprised there, though,
i've bought another mann to install tmrw in a 98, we'll see how that one holds up.

Interesting.
I've heard nothing but good reviews of Filtran tranny filters for our 7s.
But, I thought they were stamped "Filtran" on the metal part, but I could easily be wrong about that.

You are right about the stamp - it is in the plastic. Pic of my next install 🙂

Hmm. The FCPEuro picture doesn't show the Filtran stamp on it.

It's a "Genuine BMW" brand part, meaning they bought it from BMW Parts as a dealer would. I don't think you can go wrong with a "Genuine BMW" part.
