Worlds Fastest BMW Compact ?

Hey before I start making claims .... Does anyone know of a compact with more power and performance than mine... I know there is always a bigger and badder ride (ti) out there but is there one right now or can I post my throne

Thats going by actual verified dyno hp and track times... I'm sure theres always someone that claims that they are faster out there... but if there are no numbers... then that car probably does not exist. So until then "blown" enjoy your reign~!! Again congrats~!

Blown, I think u can safely say u have the fastest Ti around.. I dont even know of another Ti thats M powered with a Turbo.

Maybe someone has a Ti with a jet engine strapped in the trunk on a drag strip somewhere in Kentucky.. :D But to our knowledge.. ur the Ti KING!;) :p

If I got an AA for my m3/4 would that work? or would a turbo'd m5 win that crown?

Hmmmm, I wonder if renntech did a 7.4 conversion for the CL's or the S class, cause I think that would be the fastest. The SLR 7.4 did 0-60 pretty damn fast if I recal.

Not to rain on your parade Blown, but i remember something about Racing Dynamics doing a conversion on a Ti, their K55 or something like that- but they dropped in a fat 5.5 liter V-12, so i dont know if that really counts, and I forget the exact spec's. You might want to check that out. (I still like yours better though :cool: )

FatBoyM... from my knowledge... i havent received any info on the fastest 4dr M3s... turbo 4dr M will do also.

I also remember that K55 from RD... the last thing i remember about few years back... i saw it at a shop in LA and it was getting inspected to be sold to a private owner...after that i dont know what happened to that car... but that car had a lot of torque... but im sure Blown will able to spank that car... plus the K55 w/ the V12 aluminum block is caring more weight than Blown's.

In the March issue of Performance BMW they have an article with a compact with a v-12.
So i dont know who's faster the Turbo M3 or the V-12, there were no stats on the V-12 compact.
This is the Racing Dynamics compact so im not sure if it should be counted as the fastest.
I can't wait to go turbo in my car.

Found stats on it:
427BHP @ 5900rpm
406 ft/lb torque @ 4100rpm
0-60 4.5 secs.
190MPH max

They claim to be 'fastest compact in teh world'
But i think Blown's is still phat

Plus Blown has that extra shot of the "squeeze" so it might be close between the RD compact... but personally I think Blown's car will take care of them with no problem.

Like Joey quoted Racing Dynamics claims that their compact to be "fastest compact in the world" ... well that was b4 they met Mr. Blown's car.

Yeah they claim that is the fastest but .... Without the NOS Im at 365.9 hp and 372.6 tq on a mustang dyno which is multiplied by 1.31 .. You do the Math :-) with the 279 diff Karl said I can run 185+ mph .. I think the 190 claim is bull since the K55 has a E36 rear end with 346 gears... Pluss the K55 has some poor down force and is the car I was after from day one .. I cant wait till my new motor is done .... Can you say mid 10's .... Want to crush all posibilities ....

Hey Jon... it was good seeing you the other day.

But to answer your question... I believe Abraham was running 12.68 or something in the mid to low 12s on his 2.5 liter w/ AA turbo.

At the time, I could not achieve his times...

But this was a couple of years ago... Im sure hes running faster now.

He has written to me via email about a month ago...and he said his "motor is in the works" so i guess we'll find out soon enough what his numbers are going to be.
