Selling our 1997 E36 BMW 328i. Automatic transmission, 4 door sedan. Artiksilber/black leather interior. The car has been restored including a new paint job less than 2 years ago that cost almost 3000.00. The A/C blows nice and cold.

The good:

-Very clean interior. there are no rips, tears or bad spots in the black leather seats.
-About 112,000 miles on the odometer. believed to be original miles.
-Very recent paint job. looks fantastic. not perfect but they did a good job prepping and laying the paint. very shiny and smooth.
-A/C blows nice and cold. it does not leak. we've never had to recharge it.
-Auto trans shifts great.
-Engine runs strong and idles well.
-Dual power front seats
-Cruise control works
-Aftermarket "alpina" wheels are in nice shape. the tires are pretty good and should last another year or two. (cost 1800.00)
-Suspension has been almost completely rebuilt. the struts were replaced less than 2 years ago.
-Car is completely original except for an aftermarket stereo, Koni rear struts, and Aftermarket Wheels.
-Body panels are very straight. all of them line up perfectly and are believed to be original.
-it is believed the car has never been in any accidents
-The car drives and runs down the highway great. Feels tight. Steering is tight.
-Starter was rebuilt less than 3 months ago.
-The car just hit the 20 year mark so it is eligible for classic insurance for less than 300.00/yr.

The Not so good:

-The sunroof doesn't work. it seems to be hanging up somehow on the driver's side. it worked fine until the car went to the paint
shop, but i think they may have gotten it off track. I just have not taken the time to tear it apart to see what is wrong.
-The car seems to have a small battery drain. If it is left sitting for a week or two, it seems to drain the battery down. i have been
disconnecting the negative battery cable when the car isn't being used. This car came to us with an aftermarket alarm
system. i have removed most of it from under the dash. i have a suspicion the drain has something to do with this
alarm system but i have not tracked it down.
-One fog light is missing. the other one is cracked.

So, this is a really nice car for the classic euro enthusiast. it isn't perfect, but it is really nice and i have put a lot of time and money into it over the last 2 years or so that we have owned it. We are selling because we just never seem to use the car anymore. It has a clean Texas title in my name. It is best to send an email because i rarely use this forum. i am more of a r3vlimited guy. text would be fine too. internet scammers please channel your efforts elsewhere.
