Aftermarket.
There is not places that I have ever been to in Montreal that deal specifically with BMW aftermarket things.
But there is RMR which is in, i guess Ville St Laurent but I could be wrong. I have been there but IM not sure what city it is in.
It is close to Cote De Liesse
They sell tons of after market things and can order anything you want for you bimmer.

Really, I live near there. I've seen the place before. I want to modify the rear bumper and add a Remus exhaust. Maybe I ask them about it.
Thanks

Well they dont do body work at that garage but they can surely help you out with the exhaust
RMR sells remus exhausts, but let me know which one u wanna buy cause i might be able to get it at cost for you through a man i know that owns a Audi garage, he sometimes orders parts for me through his suppliers.
But for body work i suggest AutoMotion which is on DeMaisonneuve in NDG

I'm not sure I want to fuck around with my warranty, 'cause changing the exhaust with void it. I thought there was just one choice for the E38 from Remus. Don't think I have a sellection., maybe tips.

I dont know how many options you have from remus for you car
my product list for them is at home
Yeah tips would be nice but those you can just get at the dealership
So what kind of bimmer should i be looking for when im cruising around? Got any mods yet?
There is a Place in Toronto that sells Dinan parts, a guy on the local board told me about it. I am going to head up and check it out one of these weekends. If he is any good i will ask him what shipping to montreal would cost. Or we could work something out and meet half way.

Alpine,
No mods yet.The car is silver.I'm always around. I don't see many short wheelbase 7's. I'm not hard to spot.

AJL,
Don't know about Dinan. I mean it's certinly a well known name, maybe the best. It is however very, very expensive. Not sure if it's worth it. I've been debating it myself latly.

Well what does he like to do?
Does he have money to spend?
How old is he?
Is he comming alone?
He is 20 and wants to see montreal, some of the interesting things and what not. Also some good clubs to hit up at night, i have already mentioned super sex.

When is he comming up and for how long?
MID august for about a week, the date hasn't been set yet. But i assume there is some festivals going on
Alpine3.23
07-26-2004, 09:28 AM
Yeah as for hotels
The Delta would be a good one
I mean any hotel downtown is alright
There are gonna be tons of things going on in August
depending when he comes, in festivals
Im not really sure of "sights" to see cause I have never really gone sight seeing in Montreal cause I see it everyday
But clubs and resturants and stuff i can help
Oh yeah he can also try going to La Ronde one day it is an amusment park just off the island and he coudl get there by Metro, i havent been this year but i heard they added some pretty good rides
So If he stays on Crescent Stree or St Laurant street he will have a good time
This is where all the parties happen in Montreal, all the clubs and all the resturants at least for the English speeking people
Places I suggest are
Rosalie on Mountain Street (Resturant/Lounge/Club)
Buena Noche on St Laurant Stree (Resturant/Lounge/Club)
Vol Du Nuit Prince on Aurthur Street (Bar) Cheap drinks and nice terrace
Tokyo on St Laurant stree (club) again a very nice terrece
Central Station on St Urbaine I think (club) damn sexy girls on Sunday nights!!
Wandas on Cresent Street (classy strip club)
ok well those are the places i frequent the most but i mean if he just walks down either St Catherines Street near Cresent or walk down St Laurant street he will find millions of places to go
Thanks Aj i will pass on the word.

Back on topic, I know this guy named Eric who has a thing called «ultimateBMW», he's in Montreal.
I think he sells aftermarket stuff, but I'M not sure... I just checked, the site seems to be down, so maybe he stopped selling, I'll see...

HAve you ever dealt with him before?
Yeah, I bought some spark plugs from him last year, paid through paypal, received the plugs a couple of day later by bus parcel service, top notch guy.
The site seems to be «under construction» quite a bit, I guess he wants to sell everything, but actually does it on a limited level.
He tried selling me some fancy Schnitzer pedals. I went like «huh... this won't make my car faster right? I'll pass!»
I've cahtted with him over ICQ, he's an enthusiast, and it'S always nice to pay in canadian bucks to a Quebecer...
