View Full Version : Need help... Anyone else running e30 16" rims with 235s?

I took delivery of a set of e38 cross-spokes I bought off the 'Bay, which came with a mounted set of stock 235/60 16s that (of course) won't clear the spring perches up front. I don't really have a problem going to smaller tires, although I really like the way the fatties look on the car. Is it a huge deal just use a set of 10 or 12mm spacers up front? It's not a huge gap, plus I could use the longer lug bolts that came on the TRX rims I'm replacing. Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated!

60's are way too tall for your car.
You can go with spacers or get smaller tires.
Better tire size choices would be 225/50/16"s or what I run 245/45/16"s They make the speedo a little more optimistic than the factory so i stay a little safer..
if they are 23mm offset you may need a small spacer kit anyway-
Have fun-
Lots of people use those hubcentric spacers.
