Hi, new to the forum. Well here is one question. I have a 92 525i e34 touring limited edition and I have the mb quart qm 130's. They are 5.25" and so I bought some kicker dsc5's to replace them. Now the mb quart mounting diameter is about a 1/2" bigger so the kickers will mount but have a 1/8" gap around the hole😮. So what size does the rear deck take?
Also, I had fuel in my oil! Come to find out the vacuum line that goes to the fuel pressure regulator had broken off and was just hanging there. So I replaced it and bought oil (to cycle the fuel out a couple of times). Now I'm wondering, would that disconnected vacuum line cause fuel to be in the oil?
Thanks in advance!

The rear speakers are 5.25", so anything different in size will require some modding to fit in there.

Just use 1/4" MDF board and jigsaw the size circle you want and mount the wood first then the new speakers.

Fuel in your oil! Now that is a good trick! No idea but I would flush a lot of oil through it once you fix it.

Thanks for the replys! I'm not too worried about the speakers if I cant fix the fuel leak and get rid of the big puffs of white smoke. The guy I got it from said it only needed a cat. But if it needed a cat I wouldn't be able to throttle it right, but it idles and throttles up just fine. What about the disconnected vacuum line though to the fpr, would that cause fuel to get into the oil as if running too rich? Thanx for the help!

I suggest you start a new thread on the fuel in oil issue 'coz your topic title will not get enough audience for it.

Found a hole in the hose going from the valve cover (front right), to the throttle body. And the boot between the throttle body and maf sensor, both connections underneath it (the pcv? and the other 1" hose) were split and had electrical tape around both of them😮. The only thing holding the one inch hose on was a dangling piece of tape! Lmao. I don't even know the history of this car. Wow

Started out with the dreaded electrical problem because of water in the flooring! Redid the wiring fixed the lights and what not. Then I installed a car stereo and my son decides to leave it on overnight.... Next morning had to buy a new battery! Whew!

But anyways, what were to happen if the boot was like that for a long period of time?

Thanks in advance!
