OK, I may have done it myself. I opened her up on i95 yesterday with another BMW buddy. Later that evening she started shuttering on ignition and stalled at a light shortly thereafter. I've driven about 75 miles since with about 5 hiccups/shudders and twice the service "lift" indicator showed up for a second on dash and disappeared.

I had all coils and plugs replaced 3 months ago. Prior mechanic recommendations were for a new valve cover (vacuum issue).

Also, no codes being thrown...Any takers or guesses?!? Thanks in advance.

Diagnostic software would likely show plausability codes that won't cause a light. It could be related to a bad valve cover, could be a bad coil, could be a bad position sensor of some kind. Without codes we can only really speculate. I can give you software links if you have a K+DCAN cable.

Had the spark plugs not been changed I would have looked at those, wonder what plug he installed

Check the codes and see if misfire is happening in the same cylinder ... If that is the case move your plugs and coils
If misfire follows, parts are faulty and you need to change them again

If not, start by checking injectors and fuel pumps

Have the car scanned ....my bet is your eccentric cam sensor went bad...it won't show a code with basic scanners like autozone but it will show from a shop with a more elaborate scanner
