Yup, another new user.. 2013 335i Convertible

Sold my 1994 Lotus Esprit and now have the above.. Radically different cars I know! Did not get to drive it much and always worried about the other idiots on the road. I'll get another at in the future though, very affordable super car. Got a great deal on my 335i, right at $27k, 28k miles and included a lifetime powertrain warranty and 125k miles bumper to bumper.

Been browsing around and couldnt find answer to a question; Been looking into NCS Expert to enable some stuff my 335i (with M Sport option if that matters, no comfort access) I would like to have control of such as using remote to roll windows down or up, etc., etc. Is this a taboo thing to use or ? I have also been having trouble figuring out which is the correct cable to use with it.

Already have some mods ordered and on the way based on feedback here; Tuesday will have JB4 tune and CAI

Thanks!

Welcome and congrats! If you're looking for something idiot proof, I use a "Carly," which is just a little wifi based code reader, that can read and clear codes, register new batteries and reset service internals. It can also do coding. It isn't as complicated (or capable) as PC and software based systems, but as I said, it's pretty idiot proof.
