WTB ASAP!! E36 aux. cooling fan! help hot as hell in AZ!

Hey guys,

I have a very strange request for a part. My aux. cooling fan (one for the A/C heat exchanger) is broken. The little BMW c-clip that holds the fan onto the motor somehow fell out... so I need a new one. I went to the dealer to find a new clip, and get this, they ONLY sell the entire fan unit. And guess what... it's over $600!! WTFFF :nono

Anyways, if anyone has an E36 parts car they can pull the little clip off of I need it ASAP :) My car is a 1993 325is but I assume they all use the same aux. cooling fan.

If someone has the entire fan unit laying around I'll take it also.

For just the little pin?

I was looking to pay $50-60 max for the entire unit... if that seems unreasonable I'll just buy an aftermarket 15" SPAL fan and wire it up to a switch. That may prove to be the best idea... these BMW parts aren't cheap :eek:

Sorry I misread it, that is for the entire condensor assembly. The SPAL is not a bad alternative though.
