I've been looking around the DMW area to tint my windows. I've gone to a couple of shops that aren't willing to put scratches into the warranty because I told them about the issue that E90s have. I am going to the dealership tomorrow and see what prices that have and the warranty that's offered from their vendor. I was wondering if any of you have gotten your windows tinted recently in the DMV area, and can help me out and a shop that did great work. I have 09 328i Sedan. I'm looking to go 30%. I've browsed a couple of post pertaining this issue, but they were a couple of years ago. I am trying to get something more recent as things change.

Ive been going to Absolute Perfection since the Owner was working out of his parents garage. They do great work and offer lifetime warranty on any defects. They are located out of sykesville, MD

Hey, they quoted me 465 dollars for the FormulaOne Pinnacle series for all 4 doors and the rear. Does this sound reasonable. I think it is high, but this film is suppose to really good.

I have Formula One Classic series. I had it installed in 2011 and it looks great going on 6 years later. I never had any problems with scratches or anything. In 2016, my car was due for 5 year state inspection so I had to remove it from my front side windows. After inspection, I had it reinstalled and it matches perfectly. There was no fade at all between the front windows and the rear windows even though there is a 5 year difference. I initially paid $200 to have my whole care done and then $60 to have it reapplied to the front sides.

What percentage did you end up going? This place only offers 15, 40, 50. I don't know why they would skip 30-35%.

That's good to hear. I don't know what to believe though. I see people saying they're getting scratches and others saying they aren't. My car was manufactured in 01/2009 the first month of the e90 LCI. So, I am thinking I will have this problem...or maybe not.

That looks nice!!! I kind of regret not getting the blue color BMW offers after seeing some nice photos as of lately

I have been quoted:
$369 (LA tint), and $450 (Absolute Perfection) for F1 Pinnacle 30%
$230 for Suntek CXP 35%
$230 for 3M Color Stable
Johnson Insulator (Premium Ceramic Series) - $250. (Standard lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, turning purple, wrinkling ,and manufacture lifetime warranty against fading.

This looks like the going rate over here for dyed films.

All four these companies have 5 stars, and apparently great work.
(I added the price for johnson film, today)
