Hey guys. So I have searched 5x120 wheels and I get a lot of 19" and 20" wheels. Those are too big. I'm looking for 16" or 17" wheels. I have seen a few out there but not really my style. I have a 95 540 with the stock 15s and wanted a cleaner look. So the main question to you guys: Would any of you have a set you would like to sell for a reasonable price? I've seen most of your builds here and the wheels are amazing. Pics would be awesome as well. Thank you fellas.

17 and 18 inch is the way to go, style 37 M parallels look amazing on every e34 and you can probably get lucky and find a decent priced set around $400-600 on craigslist ebay or some forums.592071 Ive got 18x9.5 BBS RS reps on my e34, needs more low tho

16" E38 wheels work nicely without adapters or hub rings and allow a better selection of tires than what remains available in 15".
Ride quality deteriorates rapidly when you start going past 16", from shorter sidewalls and the extra weight of a heavier wheel. E34's suspension is not designed to cope with lots of extra un-sprung weight. Tires much wider than stock will also exacerbate any weakness in the suspension bushings causing shakes and wobbles you didn't have running the correct size tire.
If you like the look of larger wheels you'll be trading function for form.

The caveat with e38 wheels is that the tires must be dimensioned for the e34. If you run e38 tires on e38 rims on an e34, you will get rubbing up front.

That, and it'll look like a monster truck. They're like 28" diameter.

I have 3 pc HRE wheels in 18x8.5 from an e39. Had them on an e34 for a while and they look cool. Would sell for $1k

Absolutely, I've seen it. The spacer required in front will also make the tires rub on tight turns.

I have 1998 16" 540 rims I would trade for e34 15" rims. But you are a little far away.
I like the OEM 15's just fine.
