Hello guys .I have 2 seats (from e34) non leather with lumbar support and I want to install the lumbar in my recaro original heated seats .I already removed the lumbar from the non leather seats and im thinking do the original heated seats have the installation for the lumbar support or I will have to cut some wires to make them work?If someone made it pls give advice

Ok so today I looked on the back of my recaro seats and noticed that the free space behind the panel is so small and I don't really think that can fit the lumbar supports ,can they ? The lumbar supports are from non leather normal seats

No they don't fit. I had some ideas for making them fit, such as relocating the lumbar motor, but I never did it. Apparently there IS a lumbar mechanism for sport seats, but I've never seen one.

When you say Recaro are you saying the BMW sport seats?

If the Recaro seats are the same as the sport seats then what am I missing? I pulled the lumbar motor and support from an E32 comfort seat and it fit in my leather sport seat. I found the instructions online and installed it without modifying anything.

can you tell me the instructions coz for me it looks difficult to fit the support ,I'm not afraid about the wiring ,only about the fitting

Yea this is fairly straightforward and I did it on my m5 a while back. If you run thru my build thread you should find pics of the install. If you need specifics answered let me know.

Ok so I made the driving seat .Its annoying the installation of the l.adjustment in sport seats it took me like 3 hours( first time to deal with seat) not very easy but for sure its worth .Its more comfortable and the pleasure of adding one more button for support its big :D only I have to change the light of the button and open to clean it coz for sure there is a lot of dirt inside .I will upload photos of diy when I make the passenger seat
