not my cup of tea....there kits are notorious for being very low quality and way too expensive, they use wicked cheap fiberglass, I saw an E46 with the siedl widebody a year ago and you could see the fenders move when he hit bumps,

sad but true, thats what sucks about working with NA engines that are already wrapped pretty much to the max. For 4600, you could buy a 5.0, turbo it, and get 500+ horspeower, or put a blower onto a vette..the kit looks okay

Ha, E36 motors are nowhere near wrapped to the limit dude, go hear and see what I mean....

there are turbo E36's pushing 20psi making 600whp

Honestly, I dont think its that bad. It would be one hell of an import show car. You also have to realize with that price that it comes with not only front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and 4 fender flares, but it also comes with a completely different hood, different headlights, different front turn signals, fogs, etc... I give it props for COMPLETELY changing the look of the car.

I just took a look at these and for a second I thought it was a E46 3 series. But man that's the E36 in my opinion they did a very good upgrade. Everything seems to line up flawless. I'm sure people would like it more if they see it in person. They're just hating now cuz they've only seen pics of it.

i think it looks bland...its not an e36, it not an e46....what is it? just some ugly widebody POS

I'm working on mine now :)

Nothing is bolted/fitted on the pictures, the gaps etc are becouse it is not aligned!!!..
The bodykit is flawless and lines up very very well, good fitting and..well.. just a good kit.
The pictures where taken for 1 month ago, have bolted/fitted most parts now, and the car will be painted within short time.

Wheels are currently 9,5X18 in front and 11X18 in rear (not on picture!!). :redspot

i think it looks hot. common u guys, give it some credit. its not the norm m3 bumper like 99 percent of us.

Looks pretty hot already like I thought it would but it would be a lot smoother and better looking without the definitive lines on the rear bumper and side skirts.

it could have been good if it was done tastfully

rear have too much detailes that fits 80's cars

arches are nice

front - it force you to make e36 to e46

no one likes it!

idiots!

id take the arches + hood(if it was E36 type) rieger front and rear

or just buy E46 wich im trying these days

The front reminds me a little bit of the new 1 series....

Well, that’s unique, would make a pretty good show car. I like the converted front end, but I could do without the Pontiac Grand-Am style grooves in the body kit :)

Seidl has never made an attractive kit.

WOW!! All I say is that looks bada$$$$$$$$$$$$. Hey it might be different and not like the usual m3 look or reiger look but wow thas niiiiice! I love how the front is totally differnt with the upgraded headlights and hood...

But u guys are right about the price, thas kinda ehhhhhh

Daved
07-18-2004, 11:29 PM
Why do you guys think it's expensive? It comes with a lot of parts and it's really rare.

I'm not sure if I like it but I'm sure it's different.

DeeM3
07-18-2004, 11:35 PM
The price is right since it comes with all those parts. The headlights alone at the dealer I'm sure would cost an arm and a leg.

all that takes is a good body shop to remove some of the crap on that kit and it would be one sweet kit it just needs to be smoothed out

i just noticed the rear trunk lid
that's unique but they charge an extra $399 for it.

funny that someone is saying their kits suck because it is flexible...

I took my seidl front bumper and scraped up about half a foot deep of frozen mud with it over the winter in a 70MPH sliding highway ice crash... It is still intact. The rieger rear i have on my car did the same... it is broken in many places...

Seidl tuning uses the highest grade german flexible fiberglass...
This aint no shitty material... it is flexible for a reason.
Id choose seidl over most any kit company. if their rear bumpers werent so ugly.

I'm not sure if I'd put it on my car, but I don't think it looks half bad. If it holds up well, it'd be perfect for and ls1 e36 so you can fit some nice fat ass tires in the rear!

I like the front, hood, lights, flares.. pretty much everything but the lines they put in the bumper and rear bumpers..

the front looks awesome imo but only because of the lights. if this bumper had the boxy E36 lights on it it wouldnt look as good. the sides are hott. the rear.... hmmmmm the rear...

i never understood why estrictlyforeign was so darn expensive

This is absolutely true, it is flexible for a reason.
It's made for the north european clima (very cold in the winter) and Seidl parts don't crack from the cold in mid winter..

And the rearbumpers...well they have grown on me :)

coleco
07-20-2004, 04:49 PM
I actually think that one looks nice ...
Maybe they'll grow on me too.

for now im hoping lumma makes one like their lower skirt for my compact.
