93 325i Vibrating shifter

...Its driving me nuts the shifter is buzzing and I can't find the source .sometimes it seems like its the knob but I think its more, it does it in all gears. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this kind of problem.The car has 109,000 miles on it. Runs like a champ Mobil 1 is the stuff kids. Is there a way to get the shifter boot off and perhaps tighten the shifter lever?

Possibly check the engine mounts.

Check the transmission tail mounts, they could be worn causing your shifter to viberate.

Don't forget to check the guibo, the u-joints and the center bearing (and its mount) as well.
