Selling my E36. My plan was to turn this into a track car, but I have come to the realization that between work and travel, building and using a track car is unrealistic right now and probably will be for quite some time. I have only put about 4k miles on it over the past 5 years, and basically none over the past 2-3. It sits in my garage every day, and unfortunately does not move for long periods of time.

Even if the car had no mileage put on, I have the oil changed twice a year with a Mann filter and Mobil 1 0w40. It is completely rust-free, accident-free, and bodywork-free. Originally a California car, I brought it to NY and it has never been outside in the rain or snow while under my ownership.

It currently has 168k miles on the odometer, and around 80k miles on the engine. The engine was replaced by the previous owner, and I do not know the reason for it. I was told the clutch was replaced as well not long before I purchased it, but I do not have any paperwork to back that up. It feels great and has no issues, so I have no reason to think it was or wasn't. Mileage will not change because the car is not currently being driven (no reason other than my own lack of time). It is always kept registered, insured, inspected, and on a battery tender.

Car currently has:

Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
Koni Adjustable shocks
UUC Oil Center
UUC Pedals
18x8.5 SSR Competition Wheels w/Falken FK453 245/35/18 tires (brand new)
S2R Tuning Sunroof Delete Panel
Dinan V2 catback Exhaust
OMP Targa Steering Wheel
Rebuilt Brake Calipers, Rogue Stainless lines, Motul RBF600 fluid (less than 500 miles ago)
Turner Motorsport Wheel Stud Conversion
Turner Motorsport 15mm Front Spacers
H&R 5mm Rear Spacers
ZHP Leather shift knob

Cooling system overhaul/upgrade done less than 500 miles ago:
Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator & Hoses
Factory BMW coolant
Stewart Water Pump
OEM BMW thermostat housing
Low temp thermostat
Low temp aux fan switch

No leaks, issues, codes, rattles, or squeaks!
100% crack-free and rust-free
Ice cold AC and hot heat
Clean title, Clean Carfax, all matching VINs on every single panel!
Huge book of receipts that I am far too scared to start adding up.
Fully functional OBC with no dead pixels.
Recently replaced the oil separator with all hoses, ICV, fuel filter and lines, cabin filter, power steering lines and reservoir, window regulators and door handle assemblies, windshield cowl, final stage unit, all pulleys, idlers, belts, exhaust hangers, and much more.

Cons:

-Sunroof delete panel has not been sealed. Will need to be if you plan to keep outside or drive in the rain. I did neither so it was not a factor for me.
-Headliner is out of the car. My plan was to re-upholster it so it looks perfect.
-Hood was repainted by previous owner due to stone chips, and it is not a great job (has a couple drip lines)
-Front fender has a slightly bent lip
-Various scratches in paint

Bottom line; it is not a show car, but mechanically is perfect and extremely well-maintained. Would make for a great reliable daily driver or a super clean base to start a track build with (as my intention was).

Asking $7500 as it sits. Can reduce price if you bring your own wheels or exhaust. I no longer have the factory wheels or exhaust, but I get asked constantly if people can purchase those parts separately. So I do not mind selling the car without them if you want the car cheaper and will bring your own. Will entertain reasonable offers. Car is located in Long Island, NY.
