Got any good suggestions/leads/links to find some ideal driving shoes that is perfect for heel-n-toe? I can't do proper heel-n-toe with shoes that I wear. Believe it or not, I usually drive bare foot or with socks only and shoes tucked away.

I tend to be a barefoot driver also. Cuz I'm usually wearing flip-flops but they don't usually stay on unless I'm walking.

Can't say if these are good or not, they just look cool http://www.6pm.com/puma-bmw-ms-drift-cat-5-nm-2-bmw-team-blue-white?gclid=CjwKEAiAu6DBBRDDr6-e_6698E0SJACvuxnyT84KUF7JuTsCDJEKvCV4bDUCBo2Ni73cG k2BuWV6VxoCYB7w_wcB&zhlfid=139&kpid=37135066&ef_id=V98YSAAABd2jcUkB:20161114015242:s

Sweet! I was googling around and found the same Puma site. Nice shoes but I'm hoping these could give me the same feel like when I'm driving with bare foot.

Barefoot driving is illegal here... I used to like it quite a bit tho.

Piloti driving shoes are sweet , I have a pair, the heels are rounded to roll nicely on the floor while pushing pedals. Doesn't go to heel toe exactly but they do work great.

Probably far from ideal but I just wear Vans while driving (and in general like 99% of the time). They have pretty thin soles so I can feel the pedals pretty well. Never really tried driving in any other shoes, since I've been wearing Vans for the last 8 years or so.

this comes back to mind whenever I think of Vans.

Lol. I just like them because they're cheap, relatively durable, and don't really stand out much. Super comfortable too. I just buy a new pair every year or so, it's nice to never think about what shoes to buy haha

I always liked the feel of vans driving. I dislike thicker shoes like dress shoes or running shoes.

I wear boat shoes with very little sole/support. They are flat bottom and very light. They seem unconventional for a good shoe to drive in, but I wear them 90% of the time and I like the feel.

Ive heard some driving instructors say similalr to the Vans/boater thing - thin sole light shoes - loafers even.

Again the rounded heel of the fancy driving shoes is a nice feature though. And if youre tracking and might have to exit the car in urgent circumstances, something like Vans are not ideal foot protection. Great for street daily tho.

Yep my boaters are borderline loafers. Hell I golf in them too, people think im crazy... So comfy and practical!

And as a side effect, you also look like an eccentric rich man when you wear boat shoes all the time. Pair that with a nice pink polo shirt and people will think you're a millionaire.

Mini used to have an accesories line with some nice driving boots. Every once in a while a pair pops up on eBay.
